It’s not like we all haven’t had enough of this isolation already,…but this…this is pretty tolerable.

There’s just something about being out in the desert away from the fast pace of everything else. It’s incredibly peaceful out here. It’s good for you. It gives you time to rest, reset and reflect. I highly recommend it.

Boondocking, (or drycamping) for those of you who haven’t heard this term before is simply living off the grid for a while. No electricity hook ups, no water hook ups and no…(ehem)…bathroom hook ups. But being that we have all of those things within our rig, we can spend time living where most people cannot. (Check out our previous post on going solar.)

We are completely self contained and self sufficient out here, it’s quite liberating. Once you get the hang of this kind of living it’s fantastic. I mean where else can you stay for up to two weeks completely free? BLM land, that’s where.
